who are we?

It all begins with an idea.

Maybe you want to launch a new brand.

Maybe you want to scale your existing operations.

Or maybe you just want to optimize what you’ve already built.

We approach clients with a solid understanding of what a highly regulated space will look and feel like.

Meet the Team

  • Founder

Thomas received his B.S. in Chemistry from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and his M.S. degree in Materials Science & Process Engineering from California State University, Northridge. As a Director of Engineering within the Aerospace and Defense sector, he has authored and won multiple federally funded BAA & SBIR/STTR proposals, serving as both Principal Investigator (PI) and project manager with over $20M of P&L responsibility to stakeholders inside the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DoE), and NASA as well as commercial and financial partners in the private sector serving as the technical point of contact. His experience in the bio-pharmaceutical, medical device and aerospace and defense industries revolved around research, design, development, and standardization of manufacturing processes. He has overseen validation, implementation, training, and scale-up programs in GMP, ISO and AS accredited laboratory and production spaces for clients in highly regulated environments.

After a family member was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, Thomas witnessed the miraculous results of a controlled cannabis treatment program which in combination with chemotherapy helped to dramatically improve their health and quality of life. With the goal of raising the standards for the industry and eliminating the stigma associated with Cannabis and alternative care options, this defining moment was the catalyst for transitioning his knowledge and experience to controlled environment cultivations and derivative products manufacturing.

As Director of Extraction and Production at the largest greenhouse facility in Nevada he led the manufacturing division which processed weekly tonnage quantities with state of the art extraction methodologies including CO2, LPG/BHO and Ethanol, in the production of myriad derivative products and consumables.

Thomas’s most recent endeavor involved serving as Chief Technical Officer of Alchemy 29 in Kelseyville, CA. As Chief Technical Officer of Alchemy 29 Thomas implemented lean manufacturing practices as well developed ISO and GMP aligned standards and practices across their 67,000 sq ft processing facility to serve not only Alchemy 29’s licenses but those of the local craft cannabis community.

Thomas has recently relocated to Chattanooga, TN with his wife and two boys where he looks forward to building a culture of empowerment and agency internally and within the community to approach today’s exciting challenges via STEM education and nature-based schools.

  • Corey’s foray into the cannabis industry began over 20 years ago with the sole intent of growing a better-quality product than what was available in dispensaries at that time. Realizing the increasing number of potential benefits of this plant, that goal quickly evolved into a core philosophy of wanting to improve as many lives through cannabis as possible.

Upon completing his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical engineering at the University of Southern California, Corey garnered invaluable API and regulatory experience shepherding drug and device clinical trials through FDA approval. During this time, Corey’s passion for cannabis grew from hobbyist to full time to cannabis operations in 2008, growing premium indoor flower for CA dispensaries for the next 8 years. A natural progression, Corey moved into the design of controlled environment agriculture facilities and management of myriad laboratory systems.

His extensive extraction/production and management experience paved the way for him to introduce the first solventless ice hash extraction/rosin setup used in the state of Nevada in 2017. He aided in the design, improvement, and implementation of production processes across multiple extraction capabilities at the largest cannabis lab in the state of Nevada. Corey successfully managed 20 employees across multiple extraction laboratories and methods in a high-volume production environment. Together, his teams of extractors processed up to 1 metric ton of biomass per week into distillate, boutique concentrates, and terpenes via ethanol, hydrocarbon, CO2, and ice water extractions. The ethanol process alone saw up to 600lbs of biomass being turned into 20-30 liters of distillate daily.

Corey relocated to Florida in November of 2021 as the Sr. Lab Operations Manager for GrowHealthy’s central manufacturing facility. He has oversight of the CO2 extraction lab’s production of RSO, cannabis terpenes, distillate vapes, syringes, tinctures, and topicals, as well as the solventless Rosin and Rosin cart production under the MPX (Melting Point Extracts) brand. By driving a positive culture focused on collaboration, problem-solving, and operating with a sense of “urgency without emergency,” his teams are able to meet weekly production goals consistently and safely. This allows for accurate long-term production planning and forecasting. During his time at GrowHealthy, Corey has led the implementation of industry-leading techniques and strategic equipment acquisitions, improving safety, quality, reliability, and throughput across multiple departments.

  • Aaron’s career with cannabis began in 2012 when he moved from his hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah to Tehachapi, CA due to the lack of medical laws protecting patients and the possible chance of criminal actions if caught. His constant pursuit for helping others is how he landed in the subspecialty of extraction within the cannabis industry. He feels that extracts are a more useable form of cannabis when compared to flower and has the potential for more treatments as the future progresses.

Over the last 10 years Aaron’s passion for cannabis and strong networking abilities has allowed him to work directly for and in collaboration with some of the largest and most reputable names in this industry. This has led to his advanced knowledge of extraction, purification, and isomerization of these compounds while maintaining the utmost safety standards for employees and patients alike. With his background in practical engineering and chemistry, he can operate and diagnose any issues for both chemical and mechanical separating operations while avoiding all possible hazards that can be present when using a wide range of combustible solvents and gasses. But where he really shines is in interpersonal relationships between employees, clients, and investors. Keeping in constant contact with all who are involved and making sure that he is always a resource for them if needed. Aaron instills confidence to all those around him while being a natural leader, he is never afraid to take charge and will always be the first to admit when he should have done something different while being open minded to new ideas from anyone regardless of their involvement in the project.

Aaron’s experience and successful trends can be seen from the companies he has worked with and how others will speak on his behalf while being a part of many industry firsts like helping gain traction to the popularity in Delta-9 isomers and use of inline column chromatography for color remediation (CRC) in solvent extractions. With his constant drive to learn more, help others, and the experience he carries will allow pressure to be taken off his superiors and simplify workflow for everyone.

  • Wade Ammon is a multi faceted producer, designer and engineer currently contracted with cannabis manufacturing labs in the Sacramento, CA area. His last six years have been spent designing, managing construction and then directing the operations of three cannabis processing facilities. Laboratory Process design has been a natural transition due to the extensive experience and success in production and design for Digital Visual Effects, Animation, Graphic Design as well as the structure, flexibility and empathy required in linguistics.

Wade is driven by a wide angle perspective on life due to extensive professional and educational time in Western Europe combined with a rural upbringing in Northern California. This perspective has yielded an authenticity, ability to adapt, and commitment that is invaluable for any proven leader and producer like Wade. Over the years, his talents have translated to a scope of work ranging from small public restrooms in his home town to multimillion dollar structures in Europe and the U.S. - not to mention many hours of high budget digital special effects and animation.
